Part One
Much excess weight comes from the bad carbohydrates we ingest especially from processed foods. Bad carbohydrates consist of white flour, white sugar, breads, rice, potatoes and sodas. By modifying your diet, you will quickly be on the road to good health and better quality of life. The key is keeping it off. Along with eating properly, exercise must be a part of your life. We can not be couch potatoes. Your body was created to move.
Check out the list below:
-
Pray
– every day to help you stay focused and to achieve your goal Set
small goals for yourself
-
Get a physical – if you have any dietary restrictions consult your doctor to inquire what is right for you before embarking on this plan
-
Get a nutritionist if needed
-
Weigh yourself initially – go by how you feel and what you look like in your clothes

Part Two
1. Make a commitment - Go buy clothes two
sizes smaller. 2. Have a reward for reaching your goal (i.e. trip, new car,
full body massage, and make over). Something that will motivate you! 3.
Decrease acid foods like spaghetti sauce, coffee, dairy, meat, cooked foods.
Increase alkaline foods (fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Eat unprocessed
foods). 4. Increase essential fats in your diet. Olive oil, nuts and seeds,
fish, avocado, flaxseeds (use oil or seeds). Use a supplement of the omega 3 and
6 essential fats.
5. Improve the quality of nutrition in your food and its
digestion (absorption) then your body will require less eating. Remember:
Quality over Quantity. 6. Find alternatives or exchanges for the less
nutritious foods you are currently eating. Instead of:
Orange Juice have an orange
Crackers have low fat nuts
Sodas have water
Candy bars have a cliff or power bar
Regular Mayo have mustard or fat free Mayo
7. Successful weight loss or leanness is a life style not a temporary thing or "diet." It involves doing a lot of little things or techniques that add up to success. The pillars are:
a. Proper caloric intake for that person which includes fats, proteins and carbohyrdrates
b. Proper nutrition
c. Proper digestion, assimilation and detoxification
d. Proper hydration
